2018 Collegiate Challenge

Thomas More College students spent their Spring Break in Okaloosa County building Habitat House #60 in Crestview, during 2018 Collegiate Challenge, Habitat’s alternative Spring Break Program; engaging the next generation of leaders in Habitat’s work. What an amazing way for these students to see and impact real world solutions to today’s problems. 2018 marked the 12th year students from Thomas More have invested their spring vacation in the work of Okaloosa Habitat. While they were here the exterior siding, roof, and drywall installation was completed.  Okaloosa Habitat wants to thank the students and faculty of Thomas More College!

Thanksgiving with Harbor Docks & Habitat Thursday, 11/24/2016

Come enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal at Harbor Docks in Destin on Thursday, November 24th, seating from 11am – 7pm. Your dinner is provided by Charles Morgan and the Harbor Docks team and served up by volunteers of Habitat for Humanity in Okaloosa County. Celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends right on the Destin Harbor at the restaurant located at 538 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541. There is no charge for the food and we collect donations for Okaloosa’s Habitat for Humanity and Destin Harvest. Make a new tradition; bring your family to dinner, leave the dishes to us, and help other local families begin new lives in safe, decent affordable homes.

Join Us Saturday, September 24th

Get away from it all for a couple of hours and have a little fun! We have great raffle items, fine wine and fancy appetizers, plus live music by local pianist, Gina Marini. Bring your friends and relax, or use it as your pre-party for Saturday night!
