This year, 17 area charities will be teaming up with various restaurants and BBQ aficionados to fire up their grills to take home awards and prize money.
Attendees will sample mouth-watering BBQ dishes hot off the grills and cast their votes for the coveted People’s Choice title. Celebrity judges will award Judge’s Pick winners of a blind taste test.
Starting at 5 p.m., take in the live entertainment from local favorites Heritage and Trigger Proof, along with festive street performers and kid’s activities.
BBQ sampling is just $1 per sample from 6 – 8 pm. The evening’s festivities will conclude at 9:15 pm with the best Independence Day firework extravaganza on the Emerald Coast.

Gulf Power sponsored home #58 Dedication ~ Friday, June 2nd, at 3pm
Join us for a special home dedication for our 58th home in Okaloosa County on Friday, June 2nd at 3pm. We will hand over the keys to the Cruz family at 582 S. Savage Street in Crestview. Gulf Power sponsored this home and will be on hand to help us celebrate this dream of home ownership coming true for an Okaloosa County family. From wall raising, to finishing touches, our community came together to help build this home; we are grateful for all who had a hand in this noble endeavor.
